WAYS TO GIVE TO CLERMONT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY (CCA)

Gifts of Cash

The most simple and quickest way to give is a gift of cash. Most gifts to CCA are cash gifts. The actual cost is less than the full face value because of the tax deduction you receive for making the gift. The gift is considered given on the date it is mailed or delivered. You can mail a contribution to:

Clermont Christian Academy

P.O. Box 120992

Clermont, FL 34712-0992

Gifts of Appreciated Property

Gifts of real estate and capital gain securities can provide tax benefits even greater than an outright cash gift. The gift is considered made on the day the transfer is completed. Please call the school for the necessary information to make a transfer.

You should contact your legal or financial advisors or the school for special IRS rules which apply to the following types of gifts:

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match a contribution you make to the school. Check to see if your employer has a matching gift program which can double your contribution to CCA.

Gifts of Tangible Personal Property

These can include furniture, art, jewelry, antiques, books, coins, stamp collection, etc. The gift is made the day ownership is transferred.

Life Income Plans

You can make a gift while still earning income from the donated assets. These life income plans include annuity trusts, unitrusts, pooled income funds, charitable gift annuities.

Other Planned Gifts

Life income plans are not the only kind of planned gift. Other planned giving options are charitable lead trusts, gifts of real property subject to life estate, and wealth replacement with life insurance.

Wills and Estates

You can also include Clermont Christian Academy in your will or estate. Your bequest can take a variety of forms such as specific bequest, residuary bequest, contingent bequest, trust under will, etc.

Other ways to give include bargain sales, closely-held stock, life insurance, in-kind gifts, pro bono gifts of services, etc.
